Permaculture and Related Courses and Workshops
Spiralseed offers many windows of opportunity into the exciting world of permaculture learning, ranging from from short talks and one day introductory events to full design courses held in residential settings or over a series of weekends.
Our courses are accredited by the Permaculture Assocaition (Britain). Whether a one hour workshop or a two week residential course, our ethos is solutions-focused, participatory, and learner-centred.
Permaculture Introductory Courses
An excellent way to find out more about permaculture is to attend a two-day introductory course. This ‘taster’ will provide an opportunity to actively learn about the ethics, principles and applications of permaculture design. Whether a one hour workshop or a two week residential course, our ethos is solutions-focused, participatory, and learner-centred.
Full Permaculture Design Courses
The full 72 hour Permaculture Design Course is a vital stage in the development of understanding of permaculture ethics, principles, design processes and implementation techniques. Completion of the Full Permaculture Design course provides recognition as a Permaculture Design graduate, and enables you to go on to study for the Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design. We offer the Design Course in a variety of formats to suit your needs, including a two week residential block, or over a series of weekends.
Other Courses, Workshops and Events
In addition to permaculture introductory and design courses, Spiralseed provide a range of courses and workshops covering related subjects such as Forest Gardening, creating a ‘Right Livlihood’, Permaculture for children and families, Permaculture Diploma support events, apple juicing events, Permaculture Teacher Training, etc.
