Do you seek to live compassionately without the unnecessary exploitation of people, animals and the environment? Are you concerned about climate change, peak oil and future generations? Are you interested in changing how we interact with other species, ecosystems and our human communities? Then this full online permaculture design course led by Graham Burnett, author of The Vegan Book of Permaculture is for you!

As we continue to face the consequences of our unsustainable lifestyles, it’s becoming ever clearer that we need to find new ways of living in harmony with the earth. Permaculture is a design philosophy that mimics the relationships and systems found in natural ecosystems. It emphasizes the use of renewable resources, diversity, and cooperation, to create sustainable communities and ecosystems.

The Veganic way combined with permaculture design systems can create a world that is not only ‘sustainable’ but truly REGENERATIVE for all, restoring forests, repairing ecosystems, rebuilding soils, increasing biodiversity, developing local economies and addressing issues of social justice and animal liberation.

We believe that bringing people together to focus on gardening, sustainability, community and solutions-focused thinking will provide some hope and sanity in these times of uncertainty. One of the things we love about our courses is the sense of community that comes from an active and inspired group, and the creative problem solving of permaculture design.

Our exciting new online format, endorsed by the Vegan Organic Network and the Permaculture Association (Britain) includes;

  • Live lectures and presentations from ourselves and guest tutors
  • Live presentations and Q & A’s from our amazing and inspiring collaborators and guest tutors.
  • Small group discussions and activities so participants can meet, share knowledge and learn from each other.
  • Downloadable resources and links.
  • Practical assignments and written/design projects to do at home plus time to compare notes with each other.
  • The permaculture approach of simple, common sense, down to earth, self sufficient, community building, change making positivity.
  • Our informative, inspiring and relaxed teaching style.
  • Course participants will be awarded the Permaculture Association (Britain)’s internationally recognised Certificate in Permaculture Design (NB, to be awarded the certificate you must complete a design presentation at the end of the course).

What folk have said about previous Spiralseed courses

“I can totally recommend this. I’ve done 2 courses under Graham’s tutelage and have thoroughly enjoyed each one. The second changed my life (for the better) and gave me the courage to ditch a a job that was wearing me down, in favour of self-employment that has left me happier than ever before as an adult. The Introduction to Permaculture course I did opened my eyes and broadened my outlook. Worth it for that alone, but when you add in a weekend of fun with like-minded people – priceless!”

“Thank you both again for a deeply inspiring and core-shakingly eye opening Permaculture Design Course at Brook End this Summer. Wow!…”

“If anyone is considering this course I would really recommend it”

“The course was terrific and was paced in such a way as to ensure maximum benefit”

“This has been an amazing week of learning. I’m going back feeling inspired, and with so much to reflect on”

“I’ve done a lot of training courses and Graham is by far one of the best trainers I’ve had”

“I believe that we all left richer for the experience and, speaking for myself, happier and more hopeful. I am now just looking for an excuse to return, because the whole experience was just too good to have only once”
